Property with Purpose

A property is an investment.

It is also somebody's home.

I believe property can provide a good return and a good home, and that the best investments do both.

Every investor wants their property to perform. That is what investment is for, and there is nothing to apologise for. But for some people, having the right place to live is what makes recovery, independence or a fresh start possible.

Those two things are not in competition. A property leased to a supported housing provider can work well for its owner and change the course of someone's life at the same time. I think more investors would choose that, if they knew where to start and it felt as manageable as any other let.

The mission

Finding the property. Understanding what's needed. Making the introduction.

Pavale Property helps remove the barriers many investors face. I source properties suited to supported housing, I explain what a provider will need from a property, and I introduce investors to the housing associations, councils, care providers and charities looking for homes.

A property can do a great deal, for the person who lives in it and for the person who owns it. I am here to help it do both.

From social care to property

I spent more than 30 years in health and social care, across local authorities, the NHS and the Civil Service, including time as a senior social worker, a team manager and a department lead for adult safeguarding.

In that work, accommodation was often an essential part of planning what came next in someone's life. I saw first-hand how the right home can provide stability, dignity and independence, and what happens when it isn't there. That is why I do this.

When I decided to build something of my own, I joined the property investors network (pin) and completed the Property Mastermind programme, where I received the Top Performer Award. I now host the pin meeting in Lincoln. What I bring to this work is 30 years of understanding what the right accommodation means to the person who lives in it, and a love of property and what it can do for everyone involved.

As a mother and grandmother, I want Pavale Property to be something that lasts, and something that carries on the work I have always cared about.

How I Work

Most property decisions begin with three questions. What is the purchase price? What is the rental income? What is the return?

Those questions matter, and I ask them too. My background has taught me to ask some others alongside them…

  • Who is this property for?

  • What does that person actually need?

  • Can they live there safely and independently?

  • Could the property be adapted or improved?

  • What difference could the right accommodation make?

The financial model has to work. So does the human one.

In practice that means being honest about opportunities, challenges, numbers and expectations. I do not guarantee returns, because property investment carries risk and you should make your own informed decision. And I would rather build a long working relationship than find one property and sell one deal. If you are…

An investor looking for your next property…

A landlord wondering what your current property could do…

An organisation in need of suitable homes…

…a conversation is the place to start.
